Set up with a nice bowl of porridge (the first of the trip!! Well done and thanks to Will). The boys set off and over the spectacular Forth Road Bridge.
It was a day of contrasts with city cycling around Edinburgh, then a relaxing cycle along the Forth Canal to Livingston before a good old push for home through the country side and into Falkirk.
Des had his first fall (apparently due to Paul cutting him up!!!) but all in all the day was a huge success, fuelled with the many cakes and pastries en route at the various Bannatyne Health Clubs along the way.
The aches and pains are starting to build and both are suffering with achilles problems, although not enough to stop the boys completing this momentous challenge!
