The troops came out in force today with a huge crowd joining us at the Boathouse to join us for our run to Stepps!!
The day started in Falkirk with a scone and a wee stop at Halfords for some brake blocks. We then cycled the 10+ miles to the Boathouse.
Despite thinking we would struggle with the run, our friends pushed us on and we completed in great time.
Lunch and change at Stepps and then we set off for Ayr, with a surprise guest Chris Craig joining us for the ride.
Passing Royal Troon and the sight of Arran we pushed hard and got to Ayr for 6 where we were met by the team at Bonmarche Ayr. We then launched some balloons, which the Bannatyne team had sold to support our funds!!
The day was capped off with dinner with the family at Frankie and Bennys!!!
Bed time now and this time tomorrow it will be all over and we will be home in our own beds!!
